SELEUKID KINGS. Seleukos II Kallinikos, 246-226 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 28 mm, 17.08 g, 12 h), Antiochia on the Orontes, circa 244-226. Diademed head of Seleukos II to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ Apollo standing left, holding arrow in his right hand and leaning left on tripod surmounted by laurel wreath; in inner left field, monogram. HGC 9, 303p. SC 689.4. Very well centered and with a lovely reverse. Struck from a slightly worn obverse die and with minor marks, otherwise, good very fine.
